C Printmaking

Unit Covers:

·          Art, design, 2D, individual work, line, colour, pattern, printmaking

Purpose:

·          Build a complex printing block by applying card, string, wool etc.

·          Ink up a block and print regular / irregular pattern.

Task:

·          Make a plastic flower printing block and print from it.

Activity:

1.        Shape card, string into petal shapes and leaf shapes as detailed in drawings. Use these for printing with inks / paint. Use as cover for topic - Flowering Plants.

Assessment:

·          Are the printing blocks detailed?

·          Have they used the studies accurately?
